The Connecticut State Data Center provides population projections to assist state agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, governments, and centers/organizations to identify potential population changes into the future. These projections are created based upon several datasets and while these estimates are developed based on multiple data sources, actual population changes may vary from these projections. To assist in planning, analysis, and decision making, the population projections have been developed based on state and locally derived fertility rates. Included below is an interactive data viewer to provide the ability to view projections for select geographies. Downloadable versions of the population projections data are provided in spreadsheet and geodatabase files.
The development of these population projections were funded by the Office of Policy and Management (OPM).
